No one loves Christmas more than #TeamPelican and December was packed full of festive cheer! More on that shortly but first, congratulations to our second group of graduates from our Customer Service Academy!

December 1

Here they are proudly pictured with representatives from their new teams from across the business. I can’t wait to see them put into action all they have learnt over the last three weeks to provide our customers with a first-class experience.

We don’t hang around at Pelican and this month we also welcomed our newest flock of Pelicans who have all now started their academy experience.

December 2

They will be the first class of 2019 and I look forward to sharing their official graduation with you all next month!

As always, I was extremely proud to receive our monthly live chat report however, this month I was thrilled to see a customer satisfaction rate of 99%! What a great way to end the year 🙂 I would like to share a few of my top comments that we received from our customers this month:

Eli was quick at responding, helpful and provided all appropriate information in a prompt and pleasant way, thank you Eli!

Beth was amazing- really helpful and understanding of my situation. She did all she could to help and has taken a weight off my mind. The best advisor I have spoken to from your company.

Chris was super lovely! Perfect customer service.

Jennifer was first class. Answered my query, actioned a solution. 10/10.

I have been thrilled to see more and more of our team utilising our community involvement programme and throughout December they were busy spreading some festive cheer! First up, was our Collections team who spent the day cleaning, dog walking and cat cuddling at Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary!

December 3

Next up, a shout out to the members of our Finance and Cash Office teams who volunteered at the Children’s Hospice South West shop in Redland and spent the day sorting, coding and tagging children’s clothing.

December 4

Finally to #TeamPelican as a whole who were busy donating items to the Clevedon Foodbank! A special shout out to our Customer Relations department who really pushed the boat out!

The team also donned their most festive knitwear this month for Christmas Jumper Day raising money for Save the Children and Children’s Hospice South West. Some of the team even took the opportunity to show them off to the rest of Nailsea by joining in on our festive lunch time walk!

December 5

I am happy to report that the team to raised a wonderful £208.40 for Christmas Jumper Day which brought our 2018 fundraising to an end. Over the last 12 months the team have raised an incredible 4,389.39! This will make such a difference to charities across our local community and beyond and I want to thank our fantastic team for their fundraising efforts this year. 🙂
