We strive to protect our clients’ brands as if they were our own, and our highly skilled teams go above and beyond to ensure we deliver award winning customer service. I am always extremely proud of the service we provide to our customers and August has been no different! I’d like to share with you this month some great compliments received for our Live Chat agents:
“Alex was very helpful and provided excellent service today. This chat session is definitely a useful tool for general queries”
“Roxanne provided an exemplary service so thanks again to you”
“Katy was very helpful and I found Live Chat less stressful than having to explain verbally when dealing with a distressing situation”
Thank you to Alex, Roxanne and Katy for really supporting our customer centric culture here at ‘Team Pelican’ and demonstrating how we at Pelican #StandOutFromTheCrowd
I would also like to give a big shout out to Tracy from our Customer Relations team, Tracy took the time to resolve a complex customer enquiry and received the following note from a customer in gratitude of the help and service received:
“You were so kind and helpful and I hope your managers know what an asset you are to their company”
As we continue to grow at Pelican Business Services, this month we have completed our expansion of our new offices known as the ‘The Pelican Wing’. Our new offices officially opened on 30th August and our Meter Operations department have now moved into their new home.
In other business news this month, I would like to congratulate two long serving team members who have taken on new managerial positons within our expanding and developing credit department! Jon Tibbo who will be our Social Policy Manager and will be responsible for looking after the team who provide help and support to some of our most vulnerable customers. A huge well done also goes to Tamsyn Whitchurch who will be taking on the role of Credit Manager. I am so proud to have two of our team members show such fantastic passion and I am excited by the experience and knowledge that they both bring with them #proud.
Moving onto Health and Well-Being and it has been another busy month for our committee members. Let’s start with our Hawaiian themed day for this quarter’s charity, The West of England MS Therapy Centre. It was fantastic to see our teams enjoying the mocktails and decorations whilst doing the limbo around the corridors and taking part in all the activities. The task of judging best dressed fell to our Head of People Debbie Wood who said…
“Judging the best dressed was possibly the toughest challenge I’ve undertaken all month! I loved spending time in the photo booth with the Credit Team and exploring their office sized fish tank. There was a clear winner in the end however and the best dressed prize went to Liz in Customer Relations”
A huge well done to everyone for going to so much effort and I’m thrilled to tell you we managed to raise a total of £183.57 for The MS Therapy Centre.
Continuing on the theme of Health and Well-Being, a big well done to our Meter Reading team for yet again showing us the way to keep fit! This month the team went to Bradley Stoke Leisure Centre to take part in a climbing wall session as well as a vigorous abs and spin session. A great way to keep fit and team build at the same time!
On a final note, as we come to the end of our “Summer Pelicans on Tour” competition, I wanted to share with you some of the great snaps from our team members who have been taking a little bit of Pelican with them on holiday!!
